Adsum for Women & Children is a non-profit, community-based organization that has been active since 1983 in the Halifax region. Currently, Adsum operates three facilities that are dedicated to providing safe shelter and housing, services and support to female youth, women and children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

There are several ways you can help Adsum for Women & Children. We gratefully accept:
- Donations of in-season clothing and household supplies at Adsum House at 2421 Brunswick St. in Halifax;
- Financial donations and in-kind donations (non-cash, i.e. services or useful equipment);
- Gifts in memory of a loved one;
- Planned gifts through wills and bequests;
- Contributions to our endowment fund.
