Adsum is excited to be opening a new Drop In space at the Alders - our supportive housing building at 2380 Gottingen Street in Halifax. Since opening last spring the Alders has been home to up to 12 women and children.

Last week's Mystery Art Show & Sale at FRED. was a huge success. A great group of people came out, viewed the artwork and lined up for their chance to purchase their favourite pieces. By the end of the evening more than $12,000 was raised for Adsum - funds that will be used to directly support the hundreds of women and children who use our services each year.

Over the weekend, staff at FRED. hung all of the amazing art that has been donated to Adsum over the past few months for our Mystery Art Show & Sale. More than 60 pieces are featured including oils, watercolours, acrylics, mixed media and more!

During the Successful Canadian Women's Dinner earlier this month, Adsum for Women & Children was surprised and thrilled to receive a cheque for $50,000 from Steve Mann on behalf of the eight Halifax Canadian Tire Dealers and Canadian Tire Jumpstart.
