Canadian Tire Surprises Adsum with $50,000 Donation

During the Successful Canadian Women's Dinner earlier this month, Adsum for Women & Children was surprised and thrilled to receive a cheque for $50,000 from Steve Mann on behalf of the eight Halifax Canadian Tire Dealers and Canadian Tire Jumpstart.  The Halifax Dealers have been tremendous supporters of Adsum and its work for more than a decade and have, over the years, donated more than half a million dollars to the organization. In addition to regularly sponsoring events like the Successful Canadian Women's Dinner and the Mystery Art Show & Sale, Canadian Tire often makes monetary donations and gifts of merchandise. In fact, in the short time since they presented Adsum with the recent $50,000 donation, local Canadian Tire stores have dropped by Adsum House to donate a large amount of Christmas decorations to be used to decorate our locations for the upcoming holiday season.
